When one can experience the thumping of heartbeat and also experiences the palpitation of it to an uncontrollable level. Simultaneously, one feels that he or she is almost out of breath. This is called Atrial fibrillation (AFib). It can be a catalyst for umpteen number of health issues. For example, the unstable heartbeat can make the blood inside the heart turn into clots. The clots can be transported into the brain of the person. As a result, the blood flow can be blocked and lead to a stroke.
In case, if the patient is suffering from AFib, the physicians have a job to guide them about the things which can help them to avoid it. One can assume, that if the odds of getting a heat stroke are not extreme, then the doctor can suggest using aspirin to prevent the forming of blood clots. However, the medicines with higher milligrams can be suggested in order to prevent the clots from forming.
In order to assist the physicians to decipher if the person is more likely to get a stroke, CHADS2 Score has been designed for that.
